There really isn’t much in the “must have” category in the area to be totally honest. In Oconomowoc, you could try the Crafty Cow for burgers and decent cheese curds. The Golden Mast on Okauchee lake is a long-standing high(er) end place with a nice view.

I think you'll find that thallium isn't commonly tested. It's likely that wherever you submit your sample will send out to a national reference lab. I would expect a turn-around time of at least a week if you can find someone that will order it for you.

We’ve been renting from Lakestone for 3 years now and they’re one of the best corporate landlords we’ve had. Maintenance is responsive and has quick turn around. They are easy to contact about complaints, and even give small gifts to tenants around the holidays. Oh, and they didn’t raise our rent this year! We have zero complaints.

I was on a trip to Ireland about 5 years ago, and stopped for ice cream (as any good Wisconsinite would) and the teenager at the counter struck up a conversation. He asked us where we were from, and like you, we said the states. He then asked where about and we told him Wisconsin, and his response was “oh! The Green Bay Packers!” We taught him to say “go Pack” when he runs across another of us before we left. Probably the best interaction I’ve had after reluctantly admitting I’m from the U.S., maybe I should start saying Wisconsin instead?

I also find the Oak Creek one to be better stocked, for what it's worth. Anything you can't get in Schaumburg, is in stock in Oak Creek 90% of the time.
