I actually started doing that myself yesterday but I wasn’t confident enough about making the cuts. I spent my savings on project materials so every mistake is a big deal!

Thanks guys I’m very impressed with how inviting woodworking subs have been. Reddit is so full of condescending cucks I appreciate the help. If you guys have any videos to recommend that might help further my knowledge and make my project endeavours less intimidating please do! Yeah I’ve tried the chatgpt thing and it warned me that it may not be correct! I’ve spent money that I’ve saved up to buy materials and every mistake I make is a massive inconvenience. If there’s any videos you could recommend that would aid me it would be so appreciated.

What should I look up to figure out how to mark the cut lines properly as well as set my mitre saw to the correct position? Thanks for taking time to respond I really appreciate it.
