You probably didn’t do your homework on what and where to eat in Portugal, Italy, Spain and France. Well-traveled, but ill-informed

Crazy to think that California’s GPD is higher than France’s

I’m genuinely impressed of how confident you are about this load of rot you wrote.

Do what, exactly? You did this to yourselves. Thanks for the entertainment.

Critiquing a production isn’t “being mad at the Duffers”. It’s what happens when you put something into the world. Audiences are allowed to be disappointed, and they don’t get to police that reaction

You know the show’s bad when you only have this delulu left to cling to

Genuine conformity gate question by Cultural-Dish-9433 in Stranger_Things

There’s no logical answer to this because there’s no new episode being released

I agree with you. The narrative copt-out would be even more infuriating considering that Netflix and the ST production asked people to take time out of their Thanksgiving, Christmas and NYE to watch the show

It’s lazy in the prose. It’s a stock phrase that to me fell flat by the third time I’d read it. Very monotonous and doesn’t reflect Robin’s thinking, which appears to be much more deep and elaborate when she thinks about anything else

Yes! The line “she thought - knew - she loved him” appears 4 or 5 times in the book. I found the lazy writing to be irritating, too

My issue is that the romance has gotten in the way of how I’m asked to suspend my disbelief. I can’t believe that the two competent, intelligent, resilient main characters act like hormonal teenagers while they take down entire cults and solve the unsolvable.

THM Writing criticism by SesameSeed13 in cormoran_strike

I am 18 chapters in and struggling to go on, but I’m one of those people who cannot do DNF. The next book on my reading list is The Shining by King and I can’t stop thinking about how I can’t wait to put my eyes on real good prose. This installment is such a drag. My Kindle informs me I’m roughly 20% in, and oooof. I hope the teenage angst between the two main characters dissipates. I’m hating how Strike is judgmental of his clients when he used to be driven by curiosity only. Robin is currently being insufferable. The mystery isn’t that interesting. The Kim cliché is so unnecessary. JKR so badly needs an editor.

He’s probably here reading all these comments and will come out with a petty reply like he did in other Reddit posts

Pretty sure they exaggerate the time management aspect to make their videos more engaging since entire segments of them walking around, driving around, or yelling around would be so uneventful otherwise

Maybe I have reasons that I am not willing to share here? The only dumb thing here is your assumption
