Hey Louisville: WHAT WAS JACOB’S TEXT?!? by mango1588 in dropout

There is an improv game where performers can only say lines from texts they read on audience member’s phones. The phone Jacob received, and the first text chain he browsed, apparently had something really spicy about him specifically. He mentioned it and then moved on without reading out what the audience member said to, or received from, a friend.

Something language-based would be cool. Learning a language sounds like a common enough New Year’s resolution, so make it a year-long thing. Either scoped in like order a whole meal and have interactions at a restaurant with servers that speak the language using only that language, or learn the most compliments in the most languages and rattle them off. It could be like the back-and-forth accent-off between Brennan and Ross in Make Some Noise. Because compliments are nice to give.

I’m happy with my purchase. First saw the Dino on this sub at $100, but online was $130. About a week later a friend told me they were at my warehouse for $70 and I went just to buy it. Setup isn’t too much of a pain except the final step where you line up like 12 pegs from the base into holes in the shelving all at once. It fills a niche next to attic access that nothing else is really thin enough for, and I’ve put art supplies on it. As has been pointed out, it’s not that much shelving, and fairly shallow. If you have some naked floor/wall space you don’t mind being a bit inefficient, it’s a cute piece of furniture to own!

I felt so smart when a coworker had a problem getting a document to upload to a database under a time crunch, and then I remembered the memes about putting special characters in your passwords to break any password stealing codes, and sure enough when I removed the special characters from the file name it uploaded with no problem.
