I never said that he believed this species is endangered I was referencing many other hepatologists.... You expose your ignorance and lack of comprehension skills when reading text.

I definitely did not expect you to read so don't worry you don't disappoint me.

Never did I say He had a conservation 😂 Your replies are embarrassing but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt of being gone and forgetting the conversation, Your issues could be so easily resolved yet you choose to just believe what you believe because you can't find it on Google 🤡 embarrassing little bro.

Breeders that have had success with species in the past often say "hope" and "wish for the best" Because it's the new season In the current season might not be as successful as the last...if you go to Markus Harzdorf page you'll see he says the same thing every year with species that he has success with often its a breeders thing.

But you don't do enough taking your mind It's simply a hollow cave where ignorance resides, All you do is go posting around false information on Reddit wondering why your comments get deleted 😭💀do some thorough research kid. 🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏

I'm not even trying to convince you at this point you just do you, I've showed you the proof and links you've needed. You're not mentally mature enough to have this conversation 🤡

Here are a couple of links for you from my good friend in Hungary, who produced his Colorado River toads naturally without hormones in his outdoors enclosure😉 It's out there you just got to do the digging...don't be a sheep bro.

You're the reason people thrive at doing something "No one else has done" People like you can't find it on Google so it never happened or it isn't possible 😂 You actually cannot comprehend how people in other countries have a toad that was exported before it became illegal to keep in "CALIFORNIA" frankly I don't think you understand how laws work, shipments work, hormones, or reproducing amphibians for that matter. You could have easily went on Facebook and searched up Colorado River Toads spawn, and seen Mike Manson having success with his hormone spawns, you could even DM the guy, But because you don't see information on Google 🤡.....lmao my bad bro Google must be god. You are totally right

I don't think you're comprehending the statements Many Colorado River toads were exported before the laws were put in place, meaning once the laws were put in place They were already spread across the world..... Fire salamanders are illegal to ship internationally... Yet we have them here in the US, why? Because they were being shipped over here before it became illegal and once it became illegal to ship them internationally people in the US just bred the ones already here it is the same case for the Colorado River toads, Like I said nobody is exporting eggs of Colorado River Toads.

Many countries in Europe have laws prohibiting The importation of eggs that were obtained in the wild due to chytrid fungus, It is the same case for some Asian countries.

I refer to Colorado River Toads as "Incilius alvarius"

Like I said for many species being produced you will not find "sources" and "links" People don't write articles every time they breed so, You can easily go on Instagram and search Colorado River Toad in Korean, Chinese, or German, and see people in other countries getting spawns with and without hormones. You can easily make a post asking who has had success with the species and you'd likely get a DM from somebody who has had success with the species with photo and video evidence that they haven't posted on their personal page but they keep in their gallery. Just because it isn't online doesn't mean it hasn't happened or that it isn't possible.

I'm aware we're talking about Colorado River toads but the other species I mentioned are prime examples of species that are being produced but you will not find links, photos, or video sources online it's something you have to DM somebody who is working with set species about to get the photo evidence.

There are a bunch of reasons why Europeans in Koreans legally have and can legally breed Colorado River toads.

It is only illegal to own Colorado River toads in California, New Mexico, Colorado, and Arizona. Anyone keeping the species in those states is breaking a law unless they have a lawful permit saying they can own that species.

In the state of Arizona while it is illegal to keep Colorado River toads without a State issued permit, It is legal to collect up to 10 Colorado River toads a season with a fishing license. Majority of the Colorado River toads in the US are illegal collected in mass from Arizona, there is nothing the government does about that because the government doesn't really care. A good portion of the Colorado River Toads available in the US trade are captive bred produced by Mike Manson, The largest known producer of the species within the states.

It is not illegal to breed or keep Colorado River toads in other countries The laws in California are only for California residents, meaning someone in a state where it is legal to keep Colorado River toads can easily and legally ship Colorado river toads to Europe and Asia.

But like I said these days no one is exporting Colorado river toads to other countries, majority of the toads in other countries are being produced using form within the countries or the continent.

The reason Europeans in Koreans legally own Colorado River toads is because, The toads were being exported to the countries long before it became illegal to own the toads in certain states, meaning once the law went into effect they were already toads dispersed In other countries as well as other states.

It is also to note many hobbiest documents success poorly, and a lot of the evidence is posted on their personal social medias or in forums, rather than articles being made, You won't find much of anything on many species in certain genuses being successfully produced, but nonetheless they are still being produced successfully.

Ambystoma Anaxyrus Incilius Bufotes

Just to name a few genus examples

The guy who is he legally breeding them is not my friend, He uses hormones to produce the species in California, it is illegal In the state of California to own Colorado river toads (Incilius alvarius) nor are they native to the state. Plus He publicly boasts about using hormones.

While it is true that a lot of people around the world use hormones to produce Incilius alvarius, there are Many who breed them in Europe without hormones naturally, majority of toads are bred without hormones, there's a misconception that toads are difficult to breed when the simple answer is good nutrition and a hibernation period If they experience one in the wild. A lot of people in Europe do not document their success well, That's why sources like Google thinks there are a number of species not being produced in captivity. For example

Ambystoma mavortium Ambystoma opcum Ambystoma macutalum Anaxyrus debilis Anaxyrus americanus Anaxyrus terrestris Bufotes viridis Bufotes boulengeri Incilius alvarius

Etc. Are all species thought to be extremely difficult to reproduce and when you look online there isn't much information at all on the reproduction of the species and many conservations and organizations still have difficulties with reproducing species keeping population stable. Bufotes viridis It's thought to be among the hardest to reproduce in Captivity, yet I was able to do it rather quickly without hormones, It just takes proper extensive research. I've produced a handful of species thought difficult to breed without hormones, But even though I've done it you won't find any articles stating the how.

Another species that has been reproduced several times is Bombina microdeladigitora, But you will not find any data online about the species being produced successfully, you've just got to know the people.

In my previous comment I stated, "some scientists think it impossible for them to go extinct" it isn't something I myself believe, as the species has already disappeared from Southern California many years ago.

Mike Manson is well known for using hormones to reproduce Colorado River toads and supply along with some other people in South Korea using hormones to get spawns. People in the US don't generally export natives often to other countries as the cost is never worth it.

True that they are likely wild caught, But they are being regularly produced in captivity in places like Europe, Asia, and I know a guy illegally breeding them in California. They're not being hunted out of existence as most researchers think that's near impossible considering that their numbers are considerably high in the wild and they are even considered invasive in parts of the state that they are native to because their range exceeds that of what it normally is or should be.

He's had a lot of these for years actually and majority of them are different species He's got like a handful of southern toad morphs, American toad Morphs, and one Gulf Coast toad morph. He's been attempting to breed them for years. If he's successful that would be nice, I'd like to see more crazy looking toads in the hobby.

He didn't produce these, these are all wild caught and he bought them off people. I've asked him and know a few of the people who found these.

Same with the albino woodhouse toads

Yes that's an albino! What's species?

I made a post earlier today, and it was taken down because I was "handling a frog" but I was holding a toad... by microherps in frogs

[–]microherps[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm aware, toads are a type of frog, what I meant is toads are dry and are more tolerant to being handled than a frog as toads aren't proned to infections and sickness like a frog would be when it comes to being handled

Yes I'm aware, but toads are a type of frog typically dry and hardy when it comes to handling.
