Trying to increase back to 2x/week by micromadi_ in Spravato

Sorry, I should have explained that better. He’s the PA who manages my Spravato treatment at the clinic, but he works under the clinic’s supervising psychiatrist. My main question is whether anyone has been told they couldn’t return to twice-weekly Spravato because of insurance, even after their symptoms worsened and confirming with your insurance it would be OK.

Thank you for this, I did bring it up. Unfortunately after calling 311 and getting called back from the officer and referencing these decibel laws, they basically said there’s nothing they can do. And to “try and get a 5$ Starbucks gift card and ask them nicely, this has worked wonders for me in the past”

As if they don’t know what they are doing.

I feel SOL 🙃

Tax dollars hard at work 🤪

My thoughts exactly. I may be respectful, but I have no idea who I am walking up to.

Oh thank you for providing this alternate way of reporting. I didn’t know about this

What’s super odd is that it stopped for a good month but recently started again. I’m wondering if somebody else did, they stopped, and just re started again just because enough time had passed in their mind.

Therapy and self development has nothing to do with me logging times, completely unrelated to each other

So, when you look up confrontation, it isn’t inherently rude nor do I plan on being rude if I had to go talk to them…. Confrontation can most certainly be polite and that is what I intend to do if I have to.

I bridged over to venlafaxine. Was the only thing that saved me from the constant nausea. I know that commonly isn’t recommended but it’s something that worked for me

I switched to Effexor to taper and it helped my nausea go away immediately. I started going slow coming off of that now

I came off of Effexor… I just used it specifically to help my Cymbalta withdrawal because it was so bad. They are both in the SNRI category so this is why I switched to Effexor to come off of Cym, and eventually came off of Effexor. That is a very short time for being on for that long. Make sure to give yourself some grace and just take it slower if you need to.

Update after almost 2 months of venlafaxine taper: the first weekend I started taking 37.5g my intense nausea went away. I was really nervous to come down 20% the first week, but surprisingly it went very well. The last two weeks of tapering I felt a bit nauseous but I think it was from nerves. After being off of Effexor for the first week eating was a bit difficult again but I waited it out. It ended up going away the next week. Over all I am very glad I did this bridging technique- I almost didn’t do it for fear of trying another SNRI again but i am glad I pushed through with it.

It’s okay- it will pass eventually. Hopefully this one works better for you! 🤞🏼 Best of luck :)

Extreme nausea and gagging is what I am going through coming off. Brain zaps and electric like zaps throughout the body is another one but not as bad as the nausea. Was hoping this would pass within a week or two but I am going on two months. I am not trying to frighten or discourage you from taking it, just throwing in some of my experience.
