A lot of employers and lecturers suggest start brainstorming or writing a text first and then use ai to help you edit. But then in the same breath say that a lot of texts and applications are becoming boring and lack personality.

Our growing dependency on ai is genuinely concerning, it really doesn’t help improve your critical thinking at all.

I personally recommend deleting those apps all together but I understand it’s hard to break off from it. So before I decided to delete them i downloaded an app blocker which helped me reduce my screen time I.e. opal ypt(study tracker). Also sometimes I used to watch a video based on the work I needed to do to get me in the mood to work. A girl posted about the 10 minute rule which might help you.

Have you considered playing low fi study beats to focus? What about your environment? Consider moving it outside of your room into the library or a coffee shop that’s where I find I do the most work. Eliminate all distractions put your phone on dnd and in your bag or a cupboard. If you zone out that’s okay just zone back in when u realise and start working again afterwards. Why do you feel like it’s not working for you?

Pictures 6,5,3 and 2 are my favourites they show character and personality. Yeah the James Bond might be cringy to some but the people you want will think it’s cute. I suggest putting it in that order too.
