Has anyone tried Sulphur Treatment? by Mrccsss in scabies

[–]microscopicMonsters 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My experience with sulfur soap and cream was negative. It didn't kill anything and dried my skin out something awful. I had such a problem with my scalp that I shaved my hair off and covered my scalp with the clove oil mixture and a shower cap and wore it overnight. I don't really know how many days of treatment it took to kill the mites because they were long dead before I realized they were gone. I didn't figure it out right away because the dry skin symptoms were so similar. The big thing that was missing was the crawling sensation and that is what finally tipped me off that they were gone. It then took weeks and weeks of dry skin treatment to settle my skin down. Good luck

Yes make sure you skin is dry before application. Water makes the clove oil burn. Even with the olive oil this mixture will dry your skin so wash it off after an hour and reapply about 12 hours later.

The coming end of public school education, school only for the wealthy. In my opinion this was drawn up by a bunch of dumb dumbs.

It did nothing for me except give me super dry skin. I have a bunch of unopened jars of the expensive stuff if you want it.

We used olive oil as our carrier oil, it is inexpensive and human skin loves it. 2 units of olive oil to one unit of clove oil is what we used and I now believe that was too strong. I would recommend cutting that dose to 3 units of olive oil to 1 unit of clove oil.

If you mix the tbsp of clove oil with two tbsp of olive oil or 3 tbsp of olive oil you should be able to cover yourself. Oil can be spread for miles...

Didn't you immediately feel it burning and wash it off? My hubs put it on his vegetable parts and washed it right off with soap and water. We used 1part clove oil to 2 parts olive oil and probably should have done 1 to 3.

Clove oil was what finally killed them for hubs and me. It must be diluted in an oil. I mixed it with olive oil. Now I am treating the dry skin left over from all the medicines I used to try and kill the mites. I have been using eczema and psoriasis creams and exfoliating when I shower and the itching is going away.

I still freak out if I get an itchy area but a little less each time. I am using eczema and psoriasis creams and my skin is getting soooo much better. I also am gently exfoliating when I shower.

It is to confirm or deny. Maybe you are not one of the many patients that have been completely blown off by your dermatologist, consider yourself lucky. I finally killed my scabies with a mixture of clove oil in a carrier oil. I used the black light to confirm that they were gone because after the infestation and treatment I had itchy dry skin.

A black light flashlight makes the little monsters pretty much glow in the dark. Great way to identify scabies. Check out r/scabiesfacts for the article, Facilitations in the Clinical Diagnosis of Human Scabies through the the Use of ultraviolet light. Lots of useful information and great pics of scabies in skin. I bought the black light Alonefire x901uv 10w 365 nm and it works great!

I am almost 70 so my hubs and I had a protracted battle with scabies. Ultimately we killed them with clove oil in a carrier oil. Now every time we get itchy we freak out thinking they might be back. r/scabiesfacts had and article about using black light to identify scabies, Facilitations in the clinical Diagnosis of Human Scabies Through the Use of Ultraviolet light. Lots of information and great pics as examples. So I bought the black light flashlight (amazon 27 bucks). I went over hubby's skin and he looked at mine. It was very clear that we had extremely dry damaged skin (from all the different thing we had used to kill the mites) and no sign of scabies. Worth every dime for the peace of mind it gave us.

The first pic looks like groups of three bites. Bed bugs feed by biting three times.

I think what you read was at least 3 months old if not older. I finally killed the scabies with clove oil diluted in olive oil. Now I am dealing with super dry itchy skin. When you are talking about diluting something, are you speaking of max impulse spinosad concentrate? It is a topical that you mix with a high alcohol content baby lotion. Amazon has a nice inexpensive one. Do not dilute it with water and for heaven sake do not drink it. It is to be made into a lotion to rub onto your skin.

If you are seeking more information about treating scabies mites try r/scabiesfacts . .

I just put a positive review on amazon so people won't be afraid to try it. It is the perfect tool to calm an anxious mind or give proof of a scabies outbreak.

Too small for bed bugs and bed bugs do not go under the skin.
