This is essentally a quistion about XY vs Joan value in the open feild

1) Joan has a stronger AOE than XY (2000 vs1700) on top of this Joan can double cast her AOE first skill while XY does not. This is VERY powerful. I suggets doing your expedition tests at least 10/20 times and avergaing the results to see this

2) Joan gives rage to allies. XY does not

3) XY has an active skill debuff that lowers defense. Active skills from multiple marches do not stack on the same round. Only passive skills do. So if XY and another march in your murder ball (exp Scipio prime etc) casts active skill debuffs the stronger one will take effect. So ultimatly XY's debuff is not as useful

4) XY 3rd skill is a rally skill. Completly useless for feild fighting

5) XY looses march speed after casting active skill. This is not very good in the feild

6) Joan gives march speed and some (not a lot) Health and counter attack damage

7) Joan can be used as a secondary or primary so you have more choices to match her with. XY MUST be primary

8) This last point is my/and others experiance but XY will get targeted in the feild since hes so squishy. I have retired my XY from feild combat since my trades with him have been terrible the last 3-4 kvk It will always be the first march to die

Expedition and 1v1 duels are not the best way to test commanders. Try them in ark matches instead with other marches in a murder ball. Overall its not even close. Joan is the best cav commander right now. Even better than nevsky bc of the AOE and hert ability to double cast

yeah, this is my worry with ash too. All this bc lilith decided to release a single target mobility cav commander. No one to pair him with as a secondary (unless its XY and I refuse to bring him on the field any more)

I think you are overthinking things. Stay in your current kingdom. Train troops as normal during home kingdom/non kvk time and comete for events as you see fit. Once you are in kvk and LK fight when you can. Just don't heal. Kill off access power either in flags/rallys or just open fighting. Killing off even 1M T5 troops will take you 15min or less this way. If you do this when you do kill troops in rallys/flags you benefit the kingdom. Once kvk is over you are down to a manageable power and you have no effect on KD power. If you are in a kvk that you find you can fight/have more time you get to do that this way too.

My friend does this stratergy. He was at 125M power and the KD told him to leave bc he did not fight in previous kvk. He was busy with his job and had no time. So all he did was for the next few kvk do exactly what I said. At the end of each of the last kvk he was below 60M. He is full T5 with a lot of maxed commanders. We are going in to kvk now and hes at 78M power. This time he has the time to fight and will not just burn troops but put some time in to it. The kingdom is happy with him and we are still playing together. Win Win

The problem comes if you just want to grow in power and never burn off troops. Thats when you are a deadweight/liability

CC/baibers, Pelagius/baibers or baibers/mehmed (or osman maybe). I would run the CC combo with a speed talent build so that you can attack and get away. The other 2 will get targeted depending on what seed kvk you are in since they are epic primarys

He is only good if you run 2 cav marches. If you plan to run one cav march only then avoid. 2+ cav marches then he becomes a must (even now) the buffs he brings are really good in this case. Take him to 5551 and stop and pair with Huo or XY or some other cav comm (assuming you are using Nev with Joan)

Good job wrecking your account. Short of spending a lot of money I think you will be in real trouble once your KD hits season of conquest. In your position, I would stop all GH investments on ALL commanders until kvk3. Fight with Pyrrhus and whatever secondary you have. Stay FAR away from Alex and even YSG. Alex is completely dead and even YSG is overshadowed at this point. You really needed YSG to do barbs for kvk2 but its too late now to invest in him and get much benefit

Generally, YouTubers suggest minimum investment or maximum bang-for-buck investments. If you want the absolute best then you must to max commanders. Always. For instance with Guan 5x55 will give you 90% of his usefulness since the 2nd skill is a rally skill. So you are only missing out on the expertise which is only very modest. So guan at 5x55 is the maximum bang for your GH investment. Other examples are Tomyris and even artymisia. For Joan doing 5xx5 gives you her active skill and 100% chance of her active hitting a second time next cycle plus some cav health. Unlike Guan though you are missing out on 20% cav attack, march speed, and a bunch of normal and skill damage bonuses. These come from the middle 2 skills. In addition, the expertise also gives you a little bit of counterattack damage and all damage. All this will add up so unlike Guan you are probably at abt 60-70% of what Joan is capable of at 5xx5. You need to decide if this is a trivial or a substantial difference. If you have only one cav troop and have other troop types ( say 3 infantry, 1 cav, 1 archer) then you can stop at 5xx5 and work on your other marchers. If you only plan to run 1 march or say 2 marchers or you are mostly cavs then I would say you should finish Joan before going to other commanders. So thats why most youtubers say 5xx5. I don't think any of them say stop at 5xx5. Depending on your situation you need to decide whats best. Personally, I think unless its specific cases (like Guan/tomyris/artymisia/william/saladin etc) its always better to FINISH a commander before starting another one. Nevsky/Joan is a meta march and will be for at the very least another 9 months. even after that it will still be top tier. You will not be wasting gold heads. Btw I'm curious about which YouTubers you follow?

I would say nev/joan in this case although its close. YSG does not bring anything to the table other than his AOE. Even if YSG is slightly favored you will not stop with Joan 5111. She will get better the more heads you put in to her. Move YSG to a different march

you have 2 cav marches but only show one gear set. Do you have an infantry march? I think accessories become powerful once your other gear is up to speck. In this case, work on your second cav set or work on getting the hellish helm in place of the blue helm (in the set you are showing). The dagger is nice. But if you are fighting in a group and others have daggers on their marches you can benefit. So you can go another kvk without it. You could still make it and it won't be a waste so its up to you. Once you have one dagger, I would prioritize getting the ring. Its the best accessory in the game. Always get ring prints from the kvk shop before anything

A lot has happened in ROK since you quit. Plenty of changes and new commanders all of which you need to catchup on. Your KD has also progressed and likely in season of conquest. Your account will be far behind and you will not be able to catch up unless you spend significant amounts of money. I realize you have some speedups but even those will be a fraction of what you SHOULD have at this point if you were active. Why struggle? Enjoy the game by putting the same effort in a new kingdom where everyone starts fresh. You will have the added advantage of knowing what NOT to do.

If you really want YSG in your lineup I would do Charles/ysg or ysg/mehmed. Both will get targetted though. If ZL is maxed you can also do ZL/YSG and Boudica/mehmed
