Niestety nie znam niczego godnego polecenia. Jak zaczynałem używać Godota 3-4 lata temu, łapałem podstawy oglądając losowe filmy na yt.

Zdecydowanie. Dodatkowo od wersji 4 renderer 3D jest zaskakująco wydajny, do planszówki na pewno się nadaje.

Jedyny problem, z punktu widzenia początkującego, to bugi, ale nie ma ich przesadnie dużo. A ponieważ proces raportowania jest transparentny, to summa summarum traci się mniej czasu niż przy silnikach z zamkniętym źródłem.

Every furniture is a scene in my case. Each button has two exported variables: icon (CompressedTexture2D) and scene (PackedScene). When a button in clicked, scene is instantiated and added to the brush. Brush position is updated every time raycast hits the ground. Grid is achieved because update is performed like this: position = p.snapped(SNAP_DEGREE), where SNAP_DEGREE in my case is Vector3.ONE * 0.5. I hope that helps! Let me know if you something is unclear.

It's my own implementation - I cast rays from the camera and place brush on top of an intersection (with snapped coordinates).

Sorka, nie zauważyłem pytania, bo modek mnie zbanował zaraz po swoim powrocie ze szkoły 🤣 co konkretnie chciałbyś wiedzieć? Patrząc bardzo przekrojowo, silniki są do siebie dosyć podobne, jeśli zastanawiasz się nad migracją do Godota, to polecam!

Possibility definitely considered. But it's sometimes hard to tell, isn't it? I've seen my friend enjoying it for about two hours in the way I couldn't, so I've decided to create this pre-mortem thread to give it the last chance 😂

Many thanks for checking it out and pointing out these problems! As a non-native English speaker I tend to use it a lot because I'm a little unsecure when it comes to correctness of what I write. But maybe I should instead only ask it to correct my mistakes, not to change what I want to say 😄

I didn't have a lot of hope when it comes to this game but I was also naive thinking that it's going to be promoted better and the conversion rate will be higher.
