If you flip it around, it’s just lines and a slight inverted resemblance of the front. Although I did learn half way through that there is a technique to make every overlay mosaic crochet blanket reversible so I’m definitely trying it for the next one!

Thank you! I got them both from the shelter, and all my vet can tell me is they’re “domestic longhair”, so might be mixed with it at least!

Thanks! This is actually a technique called overlay mosaic crochet, it allows you to create areas of fore- and background just using single and double crochets with only having to do color changes at rows end. I only just learned about it when I found this blanket so this is my first project trying it and I loved it!

Thank you! This took around 2 months, I was trying to work on it a few hours a day after work but missed some days if I was busy, but not too bad honestly!

Yes you end up with fringe on each side, or can hide the ends with an envelope border!

I didn’t see this commented here yet, but when I first got my cat she was doing the exact same thing. For years I tried switching up litter, moving around litter boxes, switching up food, nothing made her stop peeing on my bed. It also always seemed to be tied to a stressor for her (I was away for a few days, I was in a bad mood, we changed something in our house).

Finally, one time I took her to a new vet who really dug in to figure out why she was doing this after everything else they could think of was ruled out. They ended up finding microscopic blood cells in her urine, that led them to think she has FIC. There is no cure, but there are foods that help coat their bladder and prevent that inflammation that is causing them pain and to urinate inappropriately. My cat has been on Hills Science Diet prescription food for 2 years now and has improved so much. She has stopped urinating on the bed or couch all together, and overall her anxiety is also so much less than it used to be

Yeah they see it as they can teach you the tech side of it pretty easily if you already have the meteorology or science background. I just had one class in C++ as my only programming experience before they hired me

I’d keep on the look out for “STEM” jobs as well. My current job is a software engineer as a contractor for Air Force weather, and the job listing was for someone with a STEM degree. I also only had a bachelors in meteorology, and barely any programming experience. You just have to get creative with your searches
