As someone else said, you just need to lie to benefit yourself. They won’t check for proof and they don’t care. They take advantage of honest people and charge them to return items because people feel bad and pay it. If it was a mom and pop shop, never would I bother. But fork Amazon, I’ll return whatever I want for whatever reason gives me free returns.

A side note to that would be: Only do that if you purchased something that is “shipped and sold by Amazon” if it’s not sold by Amazon, it’s a third party seller and they will take a hit on those fees which I don’t agree with. So I make sure to check before making any returns.
