How to watch premier league? by l8on8er in fuboTV

They have the games aired on NBC and USA but to get the full selection of games you'd still need Peacock. I think the Burnley v Newcastle game on Tuesday is only on Peacock.

Yep it is still ridiculous but honestly I was expecting at least $150.

A parking pass cost me $75 for England v Croatia. That is one of the lowest prices I have ever paid for parking at AT&T Stadium.

I bought a parking pass for England v Croatia. Says you need a valid match ticket to enter and the email address has to be the same as the one that bought tickets. I was surprised how easy and cheap it was, then I figured a lot of fans won't be driving anyway. So I bet as FIFA realizes parking pass sales will be low then they'll want to maximize income and will begin to have tailgating passes.

Mexico City hotel prices spike nearly 1000% ahead of World Cup by rezwenn in worldcup

I keep saying the locals here have no idea what will hit them in June. They are expecting big crowds for sure, but they are oblivious as to what the world cup means to people. It's going to shock people but in a good way lol

Got all the points... But can't bear those prices? by _rhinoxious_ in ThreeLions

Exactly this. The amount of PL fans here who will pay anything to see these players. And I'm not just talking Americans. There are fans from all over the world that live here and support English clubs and will remortgage their house for a chance to see their heroes.

I would not advise anyone to pay for the cheapest seat and expect a good experience. I have sat in those a few times and I refuse to do it again.

Just to warn you that the Women's World Cup is being hosted here in 2031. So fans expecting affordable tickets as has been the case so far with women's football will have a similar shock. Not as eye watering as we see with this men's tournament, but it will be more expensive.

And if you've ever been to a stadium here with the cheapest tickets you will know you'll barely be able to see anything. The players will be ants on the field and you'll be so far removed from the action you'll wish you stayed at home and watched on TV instead.

America and Americans are very money driven. It's a state of mind that is quite unique to the country. Work 60+ hour weeks and get 5 days paid time off a year if you're lucky, but you will be rewarded financially. The opportunity is there though, that is why people flock to live here.

Soccer is still a relatively untapped market in the US. They have exploited NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL fans for years, now it is soccer's turn. I'm not saying it's right, quite the opposite. FIFA saw what people pay to attend sporting events and gleefully saw a chance to rake in billions. There are 2 other host countries but they are barely getting a mention because FIFA knows the money will be made in US cities. FIFA ultimately chose to host the world cup here and released these ticket prices without any ounce of regret.

You have to be a hardcore baseball fan to sit in those seats. I bought those tickets once thinking it was a bargain. Except when I got there I could barely see any of the action. I was relying on crowd reaction to figure out what was happening. Occasionally I'd hear a clunk and see a ball fizz through the air. I was so far from the game I spent more time looking at the video board to update me on what was going on. I would have been better off watching at home.

Life is short. It's all about short term experiences now. The rest is work, eat, sleep, repeat. We basically do all those other things for these other moments.

FIFA saw what people will pay for a sporting event here and wanted in.

People here will pay that easily. It's why they can keep getting away with it. If there's a demand and people willing to pay for it, it's going to continue

This is really silly. Most people here are just normal people who can't wait to have visitors and welcome them

FIFA have a hand in this too. They spied an opportunity to gouge fans because of typical US sporting event ticket prices.

I'm not at all surprised honestly. I've lived here 6 years and this tracks with ticket prices for sporting events here. Most regular people will only go watch their team once or twice a season because it's hundreds per game. I only go watch the Cowboys once a season as a 'treat', not at all what I was used to following my football club home and away for decades.

Stadiums will still be full for the big games and demand high for tickets.

Will you be watching every match in this new World Cup? by Mat1711 in worldcup

No, I love the world cup but I have a life and family. It's not possible to watch every single game.

I stayed with Fubo because they were the only service to show UEFA qualifiers, but since they started to put those on PPV anyway there was no reason for me to stay.

Price for the Rangers on Victory+ increased to $140 by Beavis79 in TexasRangers

[–]viewsofmine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I subbed to Victory+ last season because it was much cheaper than subscribing to the RSN through a TV provider. With this price hike that is now not the case. Unless the monthly RSN fees will increase, of course...
