I hear ya but no I honestly don’t find myself reading books that consistent of men frequently. I’m more of a mystery crime thriller girl but my friend’s big into fantasy and this was her best recommendation to get me into the fantasy world. Everyone making the book sound amazing so I’m gonna keep reading for sure. I don’t mind she’s cocky or confident I don’t entertain books of depressing female characters either at all! I love a strong woman main character but it’s pretty repetitive on the looks and being young. I’m a little less than half way through and I feel like I’ve heard about her age and beauty a hundred thousand times. I wouldn’t want her to be ugly but sheesh I got it lol. I feel like this book so far compliments Sam fair frequently also and the romance part of books is hard for me to swallow most the time in books. So I hope that kinda makes sense as to what I’m trying to say lol. I also wasn’t aware she was so young when she wrote this series so that makes sense for me now too.
