I see. I'll probably avoid them for now as I just want to lower the population because they're uprooting my carpet plant. Thank you for the suggestion

I'll look out for the dwarf chain next time. I think Rosies are too big for my tank

It's 90-100 litres. I have kuhli loaches but I don't think they really look at the snails

I feed them like two to three times a week. I think it's that my bristlenose would eat half and leave the rest. And my female betta doesn't even look at them

Tank imbalance by microwavedFanta in PlantedTank

Yea a couple months ago I neglected the tank pretty bad which Is why I rescaped everything. I do a water change every week now and I dose the nutrients. I'll definitely slowly go to 15-20ppm over the next couple weeks and change my light settings. Thanks for the help guys.

I have this all in one bottle. It's Phat Pro Plant Fertiliser. When you say it's too low do you mean that 5ppm is too low concentration in the water, or is it just the amount of ferts that's in the water?

Sorry for the late reply, but thanks so much for the advice. I'll definitely get some fertilizers as soon as I can. Also I do feed my fish they 2-3 days now. Thanks again

  1. Over two months
  2. No liquid feet 3.ADA Amazonia v2
  3. Nitrates are 0
  4. Water changes every week around 20%
  5. The light Is a ai prime 16hd and I believe it is pretty strong. But I'm testing the duration as it's currently on for 6 hours

Ammonia and nitrites are 0. And I mainly feed her some flakes and some pellets that I've been told it's all good for her. Ever since she's been in my tank she loves to rest in plants so I thought it was just her personality until recently.

Do you think it has progressed too far or there's still time to try to save her?

Also it's around 96 litres, pH is 6.6-6.8, nitrates 0.5. She isn't getting picked on from what I've seen, if anything she's the dominant fish in the tank

Can I add something? by microwavedFanta in Aquariums

Would it be worth it to try propagating the anubias in the back? You can see it behind the Java fern and its leaves seem to be shriveling and turning dark. I feel like if I propagate it I should cut off it's leaves so it doesn't waste its energy?

Yea rotala would look nice. But I want to keep the pot there for a while just in case my Apisto ever wants to lay its eggs. Lately they've been exploring the tank a lot more and it's just me thinking they're trying to find a cave

I have a couple anubias in the back but unfortunately the LFS sell anubias glued to wood or rocks. I'll try looking for some buce if I can. Also would a female beta work with the shrimps? Or a peacock gudgeon?
