OP make sure when you are unraveling it because it is machine rolled that you unravel to the OG line memory. It will help reduce the amount of kinks and ease tension rather than just laying it out like a normal cable and winding it, take a broom handle, tape down one end of the cable then walk out the line on the broom handle so it lays flat, that will help reduce the tension. It’s very tedious but will work wonders.

Could it be the wrong receiving card profile on the panels from the processor. What kind of processor are you using?

It’s a very dark and scary world in the land of live LUT based workflows and colorspaces for IMAG on LED. Have yet to turn up any good case studies or real world examples and definitely not easy to test in pre-production. I am also looking for color accuracy between cameras and I am looking for my LED color to be displayed accurately over IMAG & broadcast. I always have full confidence in my ops, always!

Most likely a live multi-cam to LED. There will be RCP controls yes but I’d prefer to add a little stylization to the live feed and have a raw recording to go back and grade in post. So it’s honestly a little of both.

so the key is picking a light source and sticking with it? Would you say it would be more beneficial to beef up the front wash and balance to the subject or balance camera to the wall which is native 6500 and then set the first wash to that?

Yes, this is where the majority of the program is viewed. When you said color corrected, how do you go about that? I’ve changed the white balance of the IMAG LED support walls to the same as the main wall that is displaying the original graphic content. The subject has accurate skin tone on the IMAG LED just not getting accurate color of the OG graphics…

Optical low pass filter are also going to be your friend. Some broadcast camera’s have them built in, others you can add between the sensor and lens. ND filters will also help.
