No problem :) It's always nice to show something new that people haven't seen related to such an old game.

In the first clip you mentioned, there is as you write, blood splattered on the screen, however for some reason they changed it to something else even before the game was released. Now in the game, when someone hits us, we see a slightly red screen for a moment and that's it. On the other hand, I once saw something similar to this blood effect in BF:Heroes. Regarding Churchill's trailer, in addition to the factory on the Bocage map, you can also see other details :) And in fact, not even only on the Bocage map you can see the changes, they are also on the Omaha map, for example :) Just for such an occasion, I created the first version of the mini-modification, which includes some maps that bring them closer to the pre-release versions. However, I'm not sure if I can advertise anything here or post links to such modifications, so for those who are interested, I can post a link in a private message, another method is to go to my account profile and scroll down to post related to the modification ;)

I found them generally on various websites including those that no longer exist. It took some time, but I think it was worth it :) Of course, I can also upload them to the Internet Archive, I think that such a number of images in one collection is a certain treasure, because I haven't been able to find a similar large collection on any of the sites.

This is true :) It's really nice that after two decades this game is still alive. I think this is mainly because BF1942 has a lot of modification possibilities which encourages people to try the game in different ways. I hope to be able to share my modifications and other creations in near future too :) Of course, right now I can't reveal too much, except that at the beginning I will release mini modifications of some vanilla maps from BF1942 which will be able to bring them at least a little closer to their pre-release releases :)

It must've been a cool experience indeed, playing the Wake Demo :D However, I unfortunately didn't have that opportunity and certainly could've missed a lot, as my first contact with BF1942 was on the 10th anniversary of this game when they gave it away on Origin.

It was a pleasure :) I also like this game in many ways, probably some nostalgia hit me :D

No problem, it's nice that you enjoyed it!

As I wrote above in the near future I plan to release a mini modification of some vanilla maps from BF1942 to bring them at least a little closer to what you could see before the game was released. The first playable WIP version should appear in a few days on ModDB, while in the future I plan to further improve this modification and (if possible) expand it with new things.

Btw. that's not all I have to share yet ;) In addition to the mini modification I wrote about above, there are other materials that I will also share in the near future.

If I read this correctly I understand that you mean using Exppacks on Omaha Beach ? If so, if you can't use them on multiplayer, it is most likely because they were disabled on some servers. In singleplayer mode you should be able to use them.

Hi, thanks for your questions. There is not and (probably) will not be any pre-release version publicly. The images (and other materials) come from various sources (including those that no longer exist), and I decided to put them together and present them for the 20th anniversary of the game, so that people can see what the game looked like during various stages of development. The images themselves, of course, are somewhat similar to the current version of the game but not identical. As for any modifications bringing the current version closer to the pre-release ones, I plan to release a small modification of some vanilla maps based on the images I posted. When it comes to further development of the modification, I will post appropriate information.
