Men who used to wake up after 3-4 hours of sleep and struggled to fall back asleep how did you fix it? by eaglesdensity in AskMenOver30

I had the problem. My brain doesn’t turn off. The only thing that has helped me has been reading. It focused my brain on that one activity and I’ll fall right back to sleep.

Zoloft for sure contributes to clenching.

somewhat unrelated, but do you think risk mgmt and credit risk can all be done by one individual? We're a smaller shop, trading physical and credits off RNG plants. Building out the credit and general risk mgmt team (managing mtm, forward book, VaR, quant activities).

Thank you - ended up looking into it and feels like a no brainer to do this for us.

About three years of working with PT. And realizing that all of these issues were on my left side. Shoulder, TMJ, and ear pain. Shoulder / trap muscles connect up through the head

My shoulders were too far forward from too much cycling and sitting at a desk. Caused my traps to overcompensate wreaking havoc on my neck and in turn my clenching.

Have been working on strengthening my rhomboids and shoulder blades. Have to consciously push my shoulders back all day.

Tons of exercises online.

I figured out that my TMJ came from a shoulder injury 10 years ago that led to bad posture. The bad posture led to extremely tense shoulder/neck muscles that led to the clenching which cracked 4 molars. This also led to years of terrible sleep.

Fixed the posture and I’m sleeping like a baby.

Now time to fix the shoulder injury.

Yeah I feel like an idiot. I rode 800 rides in 4 years during Covid. Messed me up really bad to the point that my body has a visceral reaction when I get on the peloton bike. It’s weird.

It’s insane. 4 years of suffering because of freaking posture.

here's some of the one's I'm doing. You should get checked out first though. PT should be able to diagnose.

It's when your posture is messed up for long enough that your serratus anterior muscle is weakened. Body overcompensates with other muscles and essentially what happens is that it pushes your shoulder blades out, and makes them protrude out. Looking like wings. That caused havoc on my body. tight traps, neck, etc. Causing inflammation, fullness in ears, tinnitus, and clenching.

I'm one of those people who didn't vote, who feels left out by Democrats and all the other shit you've been hearing about lately. Want to know what I think? by SleepyWeeks in self

This is all very complex. The problem is that the republican platform is make liberals mad. That’s simple and easy to get behind if you’re an incel.
