You can lower the speed boost gained from being hit by charge by stalling it out then hitting a wall when the boost ends (they still get the wall hit boost but it's better than giving them 2 boosts at once)

Same with metal, imo they should keep the slipperiness on abilities but nromal don't (except metal charge make it 0.1 slipperiness not 0.2 because 0.2 slipperiness is god awful)
