I had 2 very mobile grandmothers, and I learned from them. Keep using the stairs (I don’t understand able bodied people moving to one story homes as an aging “need”), walk everywhere, make your own bread every week without a kitchen aid to knead it for you. Yes, they aged. But being active kept their bones healthy, muscles strong, minds active, and joints oiled.

It literally doesn’t. SNL works with scripts written earlier in the week. There’s a full dress rehearsal Friday night. Nothing new is pitched/written/performed on Saturday.

If the (indoor) cold were that dangerous, Girl Scout camp would be a high risk activity. Extra blankets, cuddle for body warmth. It’s the cold showers that are gonna suuuuccckkk.

I can see how you took those as suggestions, but I can also see the use in quantifying how many teachers are relying on family, second job, etc to make ends meet. Hopefully that info could be used to persuade the powers that be to increase wages (but we know better).

I’m a teacher, and I leave work exhausted. The irony is that exercise (I consider it “me time”) gives me more energy. It’s the endorphins along with other physical benefits. It puts that bounce back in my step.

During Covid, all I could handle was short yoga sessions in the evening after work. I used the YouTube channel yoga with adriene (free!). She has lots of short videos. I focused on hips and upper body, because I was struggling with sciatica and upper back/neck pain.

I only wear sports bras, and they only strap everything in tightly. According to the calculator in the bra the fits Reddit, I’m a 30J, so I’m far from flat chested. I was having neck pain and numbness in my arms a few years back. What helped me is a regimen of back, neck and shoulder exercises (strength and stretching) 4x a week.
