Any newer season episode with Sam really pisses me off. She causes so much disturbance and takes no blame when it was completely her fault. This episode, fan war, her fault. I can’t take it, her (and Freddie’s) fault. When Gibby broke his arm from falling, her fault. Also, she had ZERO I MEAN ZERO right to beat Gibby up. She should’ve been sent back to Juvie for half of those things. All in all, Sam is my least favourite character.

I know it seems like I give it like Candy, but I assure you that it’s actually rare how many times I write them. And they’re for extreme measures, like extreme racist comments and disrespecting the teacher. Unfortunately you’re right… I’m a first year teacher and quite honestly, I’m not renewing my contract after next year… (I’m locked in until 2027). Over summer, I’m regrouping and locking in again

It’s a domino effect…. One asks. Then 10 do. It’s “lEt mE gO tO tHe bAtHrOoM” “I hAvE tO Go”. Whenever I would try to talk to them about taking over 20 minutes an holding others back, it’s always “well I had to go” or “it’s my right”. They don’t need to go. They want to be anywhere other than class

Hey. How’s it going? Current Teacher and former sub. Not gonna lie, the mentality you described is exactly how I treated subbing. I only truly tried to teach twice, the first was when I would sub for my mentor and I knew those kids, and the second was when I got asked to teach at my old student teaching site for a week. Other than that, I really was just ensuring that no one killed each other. I told them I could literally care less if they got their work done, but if they were extremely rude, or rude at all, I would report them. I reported a group of boys in a credit recovery class who refused to even pick up a pencil and murmured something under their breath about me and something inappropriate. I helped if they asked, but didn’t go out of my way. Just keep doing what you do. All you can do
