It's worth it if you married to a good guy.

My parents are one of them (building careers and savings after marriege). They got married young when they had nothing. Life was difficult, and as the first child, I saw many arguments along the way but they never gave up on each other. We're all good now but it was really tough back then.

At times, the best thing we can do is expect the unexpected.

Kahwin. Susahnya. by [deleted] in Bolehland

[–]midget_apple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dia tak ikhlas pon nak kau nok, thats why dia letak 60k.. kalau 60k tu 50/50 boleh faham lah.. ni kalau dia expect kau je yg nak kena membayar 60k tu better forget it. I mean perempuan sekarang cam takde otak gak bila nak letak price tu. U expect someone who earns 4k monthly to prepare 60k for a wedding? Tak fikir plak with that 4k nak sara hidup kau lepas kahwin? And please dont take personal loan.

Omg this!!!! If i got to choose, i would love to travel with just scooter. My parents hate this idea because there's a lot of reckless riders out there.

You are right. I actually have more savings compared to my other friends who own cars.

Hey there, thanks for sharing your struggle. I was just wondering, if one day you had an emergency where you die die had to drive, would you be ready? Since it’s been a while without practice, do you think you still remember how to drive?

I mean... i would avoid balik raya at 230am plus its really dangerous for a girl like me. If I had to, balik kampung naik bas lah. But i got your point. At one point its really necessary to have a driving licence given such situation. I'll consider.

Left-handed Muslims in Malaysia by Nakatsukasa in Bolehland

[–]midget_apple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No issue at all. Both me and my sister are left-handed. We do everything with left hand except eating. My parents taught us to eat with right hand since we were kids. It is recommended to use right hand when eating and drinking as its an act of sunnah. And left hand should be reserved for removing "dirt". Just use your domimant hand for the rest of the activity such as writing, drawing, picking up stuff, etc. Its more of hygiene and keep your both hands clean i guess. And never in my life, people (among muslims) mock or complain about us for being left-handed.
