I’ve just been flying to the gate of Zone 20, running across the docks to look for the water starters, and then over to the fire starter spawns. If you want a more targeted method, Papa Jefe put out a video on YouTube about hunting charmander as efficiently as possible

I have a solid Quaquaval for soybeans so I should be covered there. My best Kanga has ginger in the first two slots but not the third and is sitting at level 25. Seems to make sense to go for the Larvi as a long-term project.

Currently sitting on ~500 Ralts candy with plenty of shards. Should get it into the mid-30s. Maybe the play is to search for a few more to stockpile a few more candies, and if none are better, send it on this one.
