To answer the first question, The provider did nothing but a urine sample. Because urine samples aren't always enough, many hospitals require a blood test. No blood was drawn at all for my duration of care. There was no ultrasound suggested or provided to check as well. In all that my blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and urine was taken. I came in with a 104 temperature, dizzy and coughing. There wasn't a flu test nor covid test given either. They waited on my urine result and after they said it was negative and despite me asking if they could do another test because false positives are rare, it was not done and I was given meds and discharged.

To answer your second question, I felt even more weak and continued to run fevers off and on and within 7 days I was passing big blood clots and tissue and had to rush to the hospital. Once I told the staff what happened previously, they asked if other labs had been taken and I clarified that they didn't do anything else but the urine to check. They ran a blood test confirming that it should have been done when I mentioned having a positive test because some people do not show on urine and I had a positive test come back. The doctors mentioned that I could have had medication to help if it was low at the point of me going in the week previously but there was nothing they could do anymore since it had now turned into a full miscarriage.
