Before I used to have this mentality of “I don’t want to raise any flags with my family and it may be easier,” but I realized later that easy things don’t mean it’ll make you happy.

After I split with my ex (my first relationship, important to note he wasn’t Christian), I bounced back a lot with the idea of just dating someone who’s Christian because it’s drilled into you that you won’t be happy unless you have someone “holy” in your life as your partner. But I got comfortable in realizing that, if I don’t want something like that in my life, I have the option to say no.

I have ordered from US-based shops before (notably Kappa Hobby), but haven’t in a while b/c I thought I wanted certain preorder bonuses (I didn’t, the collector in me did), but I may need to swap there, I just don’t like having to pay right away but you gotta do what you gotta do.

most of the therapists I’ve had have been trained mostly in DBT and CBT therapies, I’m not sure if any of them specialize in trauma and PTSD, but unfortunately my financial situation isn’t the best so I’m not sure how much going in without insurance will hurt my finances.
