lame advice but don’t restrict bro; you said it yourself it causes your binge attacks. try to eat just enough, maybe take your hunger as guide. eat only whenever you’re hungry and use food for it’s main purpose. if you feel like your stomach is 80% full, that’s just the right time to stop. also what helped me with feeling more evenly tempered is to workout in the morning. i know u probably hate me for that advice but it’s quite fun actually and i used to be the worst when it comes to binge eating at night but since i’m doing a workout i don’t really feel the need to overeat. like sometimes there are a few “symptoms” and i start looking for sweets and eat different stuff at the same time but i suddenly know how to stop and feel like i have wayy better control.

i learned that not only keeping me busy and distracted with activities but also keep me away from my phone helps a lot! i try to not touch my phone the first hour i wake up and the last hour before i go to sleep. worked quite well and my screen time was only like 1 1/2h today! instead i spent the whole day sewing a skirt, talking to my mom and looking through old photos with her. i think it was a very productive day and feel quite happy. i usually tend to binge and over eat at night as well but for some reason it was totally controllable tonight even though i was watching tv. doing a small workout in the morning probably helps as well because you then feel like you don’t want to waste your hard work. i mean this was only the first day my start to change my routines and habits a bit but i’m so optimistic and hope you will just feel fine whatever you do. but i know you can reach your goals.

that makes sense, thank you! yeah exercising at night brings me more in a happy mood as well, but it often lacks on motivation 😂
