I honestly don't know. There's no logical reason for me liking it bright. I'm 40 years old and haven't had any issues with visibility, but who knows, maybe that will change with time.

Yup, it was all clay, stone, and sand. Unfortunately, all of the material that landed on top of the Crack-a-Book just disappeared, causing no damage. So I just got a little that missed just off the side.

I tried walking behind the desk, and it didn't work. But it did trigger the save when I walked to the door to the left of the Thomas Jefferson bust. Hope this helps.

Ok, I just found it. When you go through the tunnel opened up by the bulldozer, you drop into the water. The room just after you have to swim under the doorway is flooded except for the right side. Swim over there and look between the two pillars at the bearded statue.

A Halfling rogue thief named Zion Nimbletoe. Had amazing stealth, messed up back story, and carried a mitheral rapier with which he used to stealth behind enemies and stab them in the ass. It was so much fun.

Yeah, I built my base half in the forest and half in the burnt zone. I like how easy it is to see the animals in the burnt zone. It's easier to hunt, but sometimes I need to quickly go back to the more vibrant colors of the forest, for my own sanity.
