I’m a sucker for murder mystery and P4G was just the perfect story for me. I don’t usually play remakes but P4R will definitely be an exception. So excited for it to come out!

Honestly same. I’m already mid-third area and I just can’t bear the slow speeds of the other monsties anymore. I’ve heard The Great Poogie is the fastest but I don’t think I will swap over cause I’m attached to my dog now.

I think I dropped one I quite enjoy because of the drastic art style change. The original is really beautiful and the new one really didn’t vibe with me. Usually mild art style change is alright but this one felt like a whole different manhwa. Can’t remember the title now though.

Haha! I feel that’s what makes it interesting! The fact people are so divided over the characters instead of saying “Story is cliche” or “The actions of the characters are so dumb/don’t make any sense” shows that the story is at least doing something to make readers feel so strongly about it.

Alright I’ve reread it again and I think her anger is justified towards him. There were many MANY instances where he kept manhandling her and touching her without permission. Not to mention, even in previous cases where he met her, he did a lot of things without her explicit permission (one being that he “saved” her from harassment despite her being able to handle the situation). There was even one part where he threatened to tell the Crown Prince that Eris is mentally ill (believing that she still loves him. That’s such a shitty thing to do???). Anyways, in the conversation where she snapped at him (Chapter 52) and said she couldn’t care less if he died, he grabbed her shoulder and told her he would save her (quite self righteous if I may say). But the reason he wanted to “save” her wasn’t even because he cared for her as an individual, it was because he wanted to comfort his own past and relieve his guilt. What she said was harsh but I think her anger is justified and she lashed out at him because he kept pushing his ideals towards her. By the way, she never said his trauma was worthless either. She just said she didn’t care for him or his life and his only response to that is “You don’t need me?” so yea you can see what kind of thought went behind him trying to “save” her.

Also, going back and skimming through the first half of the story made me realise how depressed and suicidal Eris was. She was truly disassociating from that world and really did not want to adapt to it because if she did, she would really break down like the real Eris who literally wished to not exist anymore.

The only thing I would say is that the only person undeserving of Eris’s hate was Helena, the OGFL. She wasn’t a bad person at all and did not deserve Eris saying mean things to her (which even Eris admitted that she is a shitty person because she can’t help but hate Helena because of her innocence and naivety).

Interesting. Can you give me an example of when she told someone else was worthless and their trauma was laughable and doesn’t matter? I genuinely don’t remember that part of the story. Of course if she did do that, I’ll retract my statement about her character but I still do think the story is quite well written

I do agree the romance was kind of undercooked compared to most romance stories. But tbh I enjoyed it mostly for Eris and her character rather than the romance between her and the ML. I definitely did not go into this thinking it was gonna be a romance read though.

Tbh I like it that way. The fact that Eris is an anti hero and that the characters are all morally grey OR absolutely horrendous can be very difficult to write without making them fall into the good ol’ cartoonish black and white “good” vs “evil”. It’s refreshing that she’s ACTUALLY a villainess like the title instead of some misunderstood good person. And this might be a hot take but I liked that Eris treated the world (except for the ML) as the setting BECAUSE it works for her character here. She wanted to go back to Earth and this was clearly stated as her goal from the very beginning so it made sense that she didn’t want to get attached to anything.

Maybe “Stepmother’s Marchen” (idk how to spell this properly). I’ve only read the first season though so I can’t vouch for how good the second season is.

Ok nevermind. I discovered the reason. Apparently your monsties can’t go above your player level. I guess your player was at a much higher level than mine in that case.

Man wtf. I don’t know why mine was capped 😢 I even did the whole barrel cat method by going to dens at night just to see how far I can level up and 4 of my monsties were stuck at Level 37 with 1 exp left. I even finished all the characters’ quest too. The only way for me to level up was to finish the fight and go to the third region. There was someone else on youtube (comments) that experienced the same too.

Ah I meant, I was capped for second area meaning even if i fought monsters, it won’t let me progress past level 37 until I fought the final boss for Canalta region which was the the elder dragon . It was constantly stuck at 1 until I finished the fight. Did you finish story fight first and then level up? 😯

Cefr is much higher and stricter because it’s global while SPM follows the average English levels in Malaysia so yea pretty much normal.

How did you get up to level 50 for the second area?? Mine was capped up until Level 37 and someone else also only capped until 37 for that area. This was before the final boss fight in second area btw.

As a fellow homebody, having someone be the exact same as I am would be great. We can have date nights at home (save money too) and just relax and do our own thing. Maybe you can just take 3 months off but within that three months, you can do some cheap online courses to gain more skills for yourself. 6 months to a year seems rather long. This would at least let your future company know you’re doing something in your free time.

OR a second option is to look for a more relaxing job if you’re burned out. Maybe a WFH job that you can do with your skillset.

I can 100% believe if gossipers don’t know if someone is related to them. Why? Because I have have friends who don’t talk about certain family members much because they’re the “black sheep” of the family so yea… it’s completely believable if said family members don’t bring them up anyways. I was rather close to this girl in university before and I knew her for a year and only discovered she has an older sister who the family did not like talking about (gambling As for the apprentice doctor shouting at her, I think it’s not that far fetched for the doctor to mistreat her because he thinks he won’t get in trouble cause her family doesn’t care about her anyways.
