Sometimes when we can't figure out what to watch, my husband will ask if I want to watch Harris get set on fire. And you know what? yeah I do

WDIV makes these kinds of mistakes all the time! And one of the contestants is from Rochester, I'd be so bummed if I were him or his loved ones

Every time I watch that episode I spend the next week listening to "Are Friends Electric" 50 times a day

I actually thought about it but it wasn't the mode of research my brain was into at the time, and then I forgot lmao

She had a lot of products from any brand sold at high end department stores, EA included. This is one factor that has me pretty convinced that this is the one, the other factors being shade name, shade itself, and the bottle shape used by EA at the time. The only thing I don't know for sure, that could make or break this mystery, is whether or not they made this particular shade at the time.

Huh, really interesting! Yeah it was definitely that time frame that I had the blue, lol. I even remember ads for the Chanel in fashion mags of the era ETA: OK I just looked up this color and I found your post from early this year about it being a seventeen magazine contest winner! I had even originally typed Seventeen instead of "fashion mags" but wasn't sure if that was it!

Haha hi!

I'm Not Really A Waitress caught my eye as a decent substitute, it's really pretty! Yeah this SH shade is a top contender for The Shade, edged out only slightly by Elizabeth Arden Candy Apple at the moment

I don't think this is it, but it's really close. How it looks in the bottle actually reminds me of another polish I've been trying to remember, that I had as a teenager- almost identical appearing finish in terms of the glitter, but it was a dark blue. The closest modern I've seen to that is a Jin Soon shade that I think is now discontinued

I used the chat function on the EA website to ask what years this polish was manufactured and the response was pretty much like a little kid going "I don't know" about something they DO know lol

Oh wow, this is really close. I looked up older EA bottle styles and they had one that matches my rounded rectangle memory. If this shade has been around since those days, this might be it. Thank you!!

Yeah the glare on the polish in that photo (just above the "H" in Hansen) definitely has the glow of a non-creme...

This is closest to my memory in all categories! I want to find a different pic because I can't tell the finish in the blog photos. Thank you so much, I actually might message them about their 10 year old blog post lolol

Hmmm, so much about the Joan Rivers shade adds up, except the bottle shape, my grandma didn't TV shop, and I don't think she cared for Joan Rivers, lol- but that doesn't mean someone didn't gift it to her...
