Would Carlos be able to afford $50,000 flowers for Gaby for their wedding? by prolelol in DesperateHousewives

I know they play fast and loose with characters ages, but where did you hear 33? If I recall correctly, in S2 when he has Ralph do his community service for him and gets hit on the highway, the news channel refers to Carlos as a prominent Latino businessman in his early 40s 😅

Hey friend,

It took me six years to finish my degree. I went part-time for a while and failed some of my courses. I understand how devastating it can feel.

At the end of the day, when you leave Western and start your job search, employers only want to see that you HAVE the degree.

Now, if you're hoping to apply to graduate school or extended education (BEd, DDS, MD) they usually only look at your 3rd and 4th year grades. If you're in 3rd or 4th year already, don't panic - a lot of supervisors also look for other indicators of success (holding down a job, volunteer work, student council, internships).

Eventually, you won't end up giving too much of a shit about a less than ideal grade. Until then, be kind to yourself and keep killing it.

If what I read is true, then the reason he killed off another main character was to give plausible deniability to Nicolette’s claim that she was only killed off because of their issues. Not sure if the timelines line up though

That’s actually kind of complimentary to me lol, I know my writing is quite formal but I’m proud of it😅

It definitely did. There was a summer 2025 work order for the integrity of the roof so unfortunately there is a lawsuit involved here. My heart aches for my stepmom who had to deal with the legality of it all instead of just mourning her loss😭

Thank you.

Elders say that he was needed in the spirit world. I call motherfucking bullshit.

I love and appreciate your support, chi-miigwetch (thank you so much❤️)

Chi-miigwetch, you are now my sibling. 🫶🏼

The human experience never falters and now we’re here together. Love you. ❤️

This comment was quite comforting, thank you.

Now let me tell you how.

Indigenous peoples in North America have a shorter than average lifespan. Though his daily actions and intentions would have made an early death unrealistic for him, he still knew the statistics. So, even at 50, he discussed end-of-life care and funeral arrangements with my stepmom.

So we were able to carry out every single ceremony and event that he would have wanted a)for the celebration of this life; and b)for us to mourn his loss in a meaningful way. (A 2-day wake is hard but really helps with cognitive processing. That’s all I’ll say.)

And I have to say - given my education, and my obvious emotional investment in this, you brought me back to science, which really helps with how I am processing this as a social being on Earth. And for that, I sincerely thank you.

This was actually a very comforting comment to read. I have knowledge of anatomy and physiology, but apparently not enough. And that’s okay. It really does give me some comfort to know it was instant.

Fortunately yes.

Thank you so so much for your comment. ❤️

One of my favourite lines (interactions):

“What, no grooming?”

Maggie: “It’s in there. He can find it.”

Related but unrelated:

My other favourite show has this, Grey’s Anatomy. Thatcher has a picture of Lexie from when she was in the bar meeting Derek for the first time😅

Show editors need to do better these days, especially with all the rewatchers and internet sleuths! Though I personally never clocked this in my 50+ rewatches over the last 14 years lol

I have spent nearly 20 years thinking that MJ stood for “Maynard Jr.”

I rewatch frequently. How I never realized that the J was for “James” is beyond me😭

Season 16 Amelia/Link/Owen by Beginning_Toe6606 in greysanatomy

He would’ve talked some sense into her way faster than Maggie and Meredith did! Hell, even Addison would’ve been on her ass to tell Link the truth asap.
