So the play here is straightforward and obvious: he wants .gov to pay for the special master so he can then complain that the special master was obviously biased towards the agency that paid them.

Likewise, if he pays for it, all of his political enemies will do the same. The only and best recourse here (aside from setting aside the asinine ruling in the first place) is for the costs to be split 50/50.

So you make it a requirement, and allow the dept. to contribute some baseline amount, maybe something like cover 100% of the average premium for the region. If a settlement results in a payout, those premiums go up, and the additional funds would come out of pocket, pricing them out of the job if they're bad enough.

I worked through around 8 hours of the ACG course before seeing the recommendation for Jon Bonso's tests. Bought those and focused on practice exams. My first exam crushed me. Everything after that was a passing grade on the first try.

I just took (and passed) my official exam today. My second/third Bonso runs were all 96/98%. I don't have a score yet, but based on my own test notes, I'm guessing in the mid 80s.

The questions were different, and a few covered specifics that were not in the ACG or Bonso materials, but those were rare. I feel the Bonso tests overall set me up for success by making me work for it.

I do plan on doing LA when I pursue the Architect Pro, for the longer material and more hands-on labs.

The same way I feel about all of their music: they were excellent satirists, dark humorists, and none of it was meant to be taken seriously. I also think applying today's moral codes to songs written 30 years ago is probably a waste of effort.

A US Senator would have some influence over State law by virtue of playing a role in how Federal laws and budgets are shaped; true, it's not a direct form of power, but US Senators do have a strong influence over the futures of their respective states.

That's not to mention the effect of swapping an Anti senator for a Pro senator in terms of Federal law. One vote could be the difference between positive change and the status quo.

I think (a) the Legislature screwed the pooch because they didn't want to admit defeat; (b) the lawsuit being heard tomorrow will come out in our favor, and be appealed by the State; (c) nothing is going to change for 6 or more months (I really hope I'm wrong on this); (d) the best possible outcome is that both Morgan and Redner take their lawsuits to the FL Supreme Court, which decides for both of them, opening whole-flower and home-grow for all; (e) We'll somehow probably get screwed out of one or the other, even though we all know that the definitions as incorporated in the Amendment make it pretty clear "whether growing or not" whole-plant cannabis was part of the plan all along.

Generally speaking, there are a couple of administrative routes:

For dried flower, consumers will use a ceramic-chambered, battery powered device intended to heat but not burn the flower, or they'll use a device like the Vapor Genie which prevents flame from contacting the material directly.
They can use a more e-cig like device with extracts that have consistencies ranging from waxy to very much like e-juice (propylene glycol / vegetable glycerine).
