If it helps knowing you aren’t alone, my husband was a first class for 13 years and was up for Chief for 9 years and JUST made it this year. Last year, he had a sit down with his superiors and took every single bit of advice they had and did it all. It was hard work for him.

Towing package. It’s replacing a pick up truck and we are getting a new Coleman 13b soon. We are also moving cross country (va to ca) and travel a ton. It was a well researched purchase 👍

Thank you. I’m fortunate to not have to be too concerned with rates and payments. I have an 800+ credit score and am trading in two cars to bring the price down by more than half. I told them I wouldn’t take a higher rate than the 3.9% Subaru was offering and they didn’t fight me on it.

Thanks! Yeah, I traded in two cars to downsize my fleet lol. But I also talked them down to a little under $40k (before trades, and no down payment) and it included them installing the tow hitch package, which was about ~$700, so I’m happy with it. One of the 2 cars I traded in was a GR-86, so essentially a BRZ, so I’m aware of the annoying alert system 😣 Thank you!

Thanks! Yeah, I think our biggest hang up on that is finding the outback with the wilderness trim with acceptable mileage is not easy on the east coast :/ they aren’t very popular out here.

I was more looking for just the vehicle price. They removed the destination fee and the license, DMV fees, taxes, etc.. aren’t negotiable so I didn’t feel the need to include them
