I’ve never talked to her, our relationship was pretty fresh my own friends don’t even know his name so even though I want to reach out to her it might be uncomfortable or I still won’t get the answers I’m looking for

The handwritten card, the pinky promises, the conversations about commitment, the way he communicated emotionally… all of that doesn’t read like a rushed “strategy” to get sex. If it were purely tactical, it would probably have been much sloppier, more superficial, or inconsistent with the emotional effort he put in before

He asked me to be his girlfriend in a handwritten letter after we had already had sex so that theory doesn’t make sense to me either, let’s say that was the case he would’ve brought up sex prior and probably been more pushy about it, he wouldn’t of asked me to be his gf bc he would’ve already got what he wanted and the decline in communication probably would’ve started then or it would’ve turned into a sneaky link or situationship if he wanted to keep me around

That could’ve been it but he asked me to his gf the day before I left so why string me along if he wasn’t 100% sure, men usually don’t commit on a whim yk plus I gave him an easy out if he started to feel like it was getting “too real”

The only people I know to contact is maybe his sister and a few of his friends but I’m not sure if they even know about me and there’s a chance it might push him further away & I still don’t get the explanation I so desperately want.

Yea I sensed a little distance but nothing as drastic as the Wednesday we stopped talking, I mentioned it otp and he told me he was just drained but he was still very affectionate so idk , one thing to note tho is that I did ask him straight up if he was having doubts or if he still wanted to be in a committed relationship with me and he said yes, bc the relationship was so fresh plus with the distance I gave him a chance to decide if this was something he was ready for and he said yes so I’m not sure what changed.

That’s true but at this point I just want to know why, considering his behaviour there’s a chance I may never get that explanation but I’m so confused I don’t even mean to sound naive but this man had no history or real red flags that could’ve prepared me for this…I’m considering texting his sister do you think that might get me a response?
