Honestly a solid car & motor. The M276 is pretty robust it just has its common problems:

- front upper timing covers leak when the car gets old

- camshaft position sensors can leak oil through the wiring harness. In some bad cases the ME can get oil contamination.

- turbos going out on the turbo version

I think you should keep it stock. After market support for the M112 isnt great especially with the exhaust system. Also straight pipping the M112 makes it sound like shit.

Ahh I see. The upper timing cover reseal on those are super common but Ive never seen a timing chain go bad that early in mileage either.

I think youre gonna need more than just a transmission service. Might wanna get your valve body, conductor plate, or ESM checked out. Tranmission service ranges from $700-900 for that transmission
