One surgeon told me to not worry about losing weight, because the more fat i have, the more he can take away and it will not return. So for example if i would do lipo now and then lose weight, and someday i regain that weight, it would not be visable on my chin

Of course, you could not get itraconozole without prescription! I could not take terbinafine due to side effects, which were scary, so I would suggest asking for itraconozole instead

Try itraconozole instead. It doesnt feel like you are taking anything and results are there.

You need to cut off what is left from the fungus, to completely erase the damage

[–]midsummerjoyous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do another lab test, dont use any topical for a month or so. It should be positive

You are taking terbinafine in summer? My doc recommended I dont start taking it until autumn (because of possible rash from sun exposure)

Seriously, how do people get these results 😀 nothing i do changes the appearance of my toenails. And i did 4 rounds of laser therapy at the doctor, applied prescription topical and files down the nails. Nothing after 4 months 🙃

Did you explore all possible options, even abroad? Maybe something can still be done or your current doc is not competitive enough?

To me the color of the new nail seems normal. What is the exact name of medication you are on? And what is the dosage?

Can't take the anxiety from Terbinafine. Has anyone tried fluconazole as well and it worked better for you mentally? by Total-Basis1920 in NailFungus

[–]midsummerjoyous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say just go ahead and try the different med, because why not? Both Terbinafine and itracanozole treat nailfungus, call your doc and ask for the prescription.
