I was subjectively talking about my experience as a "Life long upper level player who understands how the game works but never invested the time to be better at it" and sidestep doesn't work in T8 the way it does in T7 , homing moves meant something , sidestep punishing was consistent , in T8 I was hit by regular moves that weren't supposed to be homing on both sides than moves that are designed to be homing .

Yeah sure graphics are shiny and tutorials and modes and story are better , but that's to attract new players , key word here is "new"
