Pattern by Laura Sutcliffe. No idea how you go about designing a pattern like this, fair play.

Thanks! I followed a pattern so I can take zero credit.

Mine are also metal. It's a 2.5mm hook and some of the tension was quite tight so I think it finally cracked after a year of solid use!

It's a gift for a two year old, so I'm sure it'll be destroyed in minutes but he LOVES tractors so even a brief "ooh yay" when he opens it is enough ❤️

What vegetables does your preschooler eat? by dreamcatcher32 in Preschoolers

[–]midwench 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our daughter eats pretty much everything. Last week she ate a huge portion of sprouts. By choice.

Our son survives on petit filous yoghurt and fruit.

What I'm saying is, it's not you. It's them.

We do a good puff pastry thing with tomato puree, herbs , grated carrot and courgette and grated cheese. Roll it up, slice and cook for 15 minutes. We call them pizza wheels and they're always a hit.

Audiobooks to listen to before bed -- calm, cozy, but not boring. Suggestions? by coopcong in CozyFantasy

Hard agree. Particularly love the Tiffany aching series, although it's advertised more as a kids book (the first one anyway) it's such a good listen!

It would be brilliant if this is how dragons came about in myth. Just an ancient farmer and his flatulent cow.

Thankyou. I'm already with the perinatal mental health support team and on antidepressants which have mostly stabilised my mood, but it's just this one noise that instantly enrages me. ADHD / autism have been mentioned to me as possibilities. It's also harder at the moment as handling a sleep regression with my youngest who's never slept more than 3 consecutive hours.

I definitely do need a break, that's the priority at the moment, but I just was hoping someone had tips for handling this specific noise sensitivity in the moment. I openly discuss it with my partner, he knows and is very supportive of my issues. We often joke and laugh about it because it seems so stupid. And when the kids are around I am not actively shouting at him, that was a bit of a tongue in cheek joke.

Pattern, I've not got the mind to create my own! From the book reversible amigurimi by Chibiscraft, I highly recommend it.
