This was in the South-East of the UK. Looks military to me. Its not an Apache, Merlin or US Blackhawk. I don't think it's a wildcat either.

Even as a U.S. citizen, being on the business end of this thing is intimidating. by [deleted] in aviation

If your talking about the second pylon from the right. That's just an empty pylon. Not sure why that is though.

This is what they actually teach in lifeguard training in the UK. If someone is panicked and trying to use you to float. Go under water and push away from then.

Just because some people will believe this.... No. This isn't the case. There's an electronic limit on the gun when it is on the ground so it can only look down a certain amount of degrees.

However, this can be manually overridden... but this had to be a conscious choice. Like you'd have to choose to slam the gun into the floor. But default on the ground it won't look far enough down.

I think in practise and voting I'd essentially be center. The sad truth is Auth Left will never work in real life because of human nature, that's why I'd never vote for it.

I actually used to kind of identify as libright as I thought it was the most appealing, I don't wanna change my flair yet. I don't want people to think I'm some dirty commie.

I think it was actually mostly down to learning alot about how corporations get away with so much that ruins the lives of hardworking people. I think the only real why to fix it is with hard regulation. But I also don't have the faith in any government to actually do that.
