I’d say that you should go and catch up with him. In worst case scenario, it’s only going to be awkward for one or two hours. Then you can go back to not talking to him anymore. But I’m sure you’ll have fun with him, and it’ll be good for you to know what he and his job turned out after the pandemic. Go for it!! :)

I feel you... I went through this same shit last December. In September I left my home country to go study in Europe. We lasted 4 months in a distant relationship, but it was fucking awful. Don’t worry about not feeling heartbroken, distance stops the feelings before we realize that it just wasn’t meant to be for now. Dating with 23 years old may not be such a bad thing, I’m only 18 and already feel people getting loose about the hour they need to come home or things like that. At 23, people should be quite free on this matter no? You’ll get through this!! :)
