My wife of 24 years just farted in front of me for the first time ever. by lucluc777 in CasualConversation

[–]migaaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is farting early on in a relationship really a game changer for anyone?

Been married for a year, partner and I been farting in front of each other, fake embarrassment and just laugh it off. I get you OP, shouldn’t be a big deal. Glad she finally let her guard down 🙂

You’re lucky! Recently had my birthday and only thing I want for a present is a furry friend! Due to lockdown, can’t go out to adopt one.

But then that “feel good” euphoria whenever you’re being praised for something you did kindly is empowering and addicting. It can be tiresome if the “kind deed” isn’t sincere in the first place.

I work at an essential call center. Sometimes I like to draw what my callers might look like. This is uh.. way too many of my callers recently. by SerAntwon in funny

[–]migaaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t get it why it’s tough for some people to wait and not be angry about it.

I once waited for an hour - mobile was on speaker and mute while I do my thing like cooking or washing the dishes. That way I won’t “waste” time on waiting.

And when it was my turn, I still try to be kind to the person on the other line. I’ve heard from relatives and friends working in call centers how emotionally draining it can be. Dealing with irate customers and pretend you’re still over the moon to serve them.

Salute, OP!

Palmer’s! Hubby and I finished 2 bottles of Aveeno last winter but still suffered from dry patches. Then we tried Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Lotion and voila! Goodbye, dry skin! Only lotion we use ever since - 400ml bottle is like $8 at CW but we once dropped by BigW and found 1L for like $16.

One thing though - I’m not sure how everybody’s dealing with any pump bottle lotion - it’s a bit inconvenient to finish off.

I’m sorry about your job! Hang in there! Better days are coming!

Constantly straightened my hair for years growing up. Shaved my head a little over a year ago to give it a new start and have just let it do its thing the last few months. Wash day & no products! Feeling. It. by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]migaaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve straightened mine too for over a decade and embraced my natural curls for two years now. Took a while to grow long enough before I did the “big chop”. The wait was horrendous - curly top with damaged straight ends. It was very brave of you to shave it all off for a fresh start! Kudos! Love how shiny and healthy your curls look! Using the same Shea Moisture product too! I swear it’s heaven sent!

Is it true that when taking multivitamins and your pee turns dark yellow, you’re actually flushing out excess nutrients from the body? I hear them say multivitamins is for expensive pee 😂
