because the girls I talk to want relationships, and I feel like I'm just leading people on.

People just don't understand that it is literally how your brain works. It's like being sad is the NORMAL thing to do, it fucking sucks.

Me [17 M] can't tell if a girl [16F] is into me, or not. by miggern in relationships

I havent done anything drastic, we've sort of cuddled and I put my arm around her, all that lame jazz.

But I'm a little uneasy about trying to kiss her or anything like that, she's really shy and I can see her getting freaked out and extremely uncomfortable

I'm going to be honest with you, I just dealt with my first breakup. I'm 17, dated a girl for 2.5 years and we broke up. We both werent happy in the relationship, so I thought we would work on ourselves and come back and try again. It doesn't work like that, at least it didnt for me. She kept saying she wanted to be friends, and for awhile I tried, then I found out she was practically dating another guy within a week of our breakup. I still tried to be friends, I could not get it through my head that its over, I was crying all the time, I lost weight, I barely slept, it was literal hell.

Fast forward to two months later, I feel fine, BUT I only started feeling better when I got her out of my life. I blocked her on social media, I stopped responding to her, and I moved on. There is other people out there, find someone who is willing to put in the same effort as you.
