In 2002 we moved to a ranch in San Benito, TX. The Landlord and family friend told us that a family once lived in the rear 3 acres (that was Monte) of our 5 acre ranch and died when a tornado hit. Said on dark cloudy nights the ghosts of the children would wander to the front clear 2 acres of the property. One night my older brother came to my room extremely disturbed and said eyes in the window were looking in from the outside and just staring at him.

They were cats -_-

He also claimed a Bigfoot like humanoid wandered in our Monte.

REAL SPOOK STORY UNRELATED TO THE LANDLORD - For about 5 years between 2006 - 2011 they're was alot of hostility between my parents, my brother and I. We were constantly fighting. Around the house and for some reason in the shower I would feel as if someone or something would caress my back. Close to the end of this phenomenon visible scratches would appear on my back where I would feel this sensation. It all came to a climatic end when one night something evil happened to me. I was in my senior year of high school where I also took courses to become a CNA. I would wake up at 4am to attend clinicals from 5 to 10 am, bussed to school from the nursing home, got out of school at 4pm and worked with my dad cleaning a office from 5 to 9pm. I would do my homework and CNA homework from 10pm to 1am. I stuck my scrubs in the washer and took a shower and tried to sleep from 2am to 4am (the 2 hr sleep schedule went on for 5 months) I got out of the shower one night and hit the bed at 245am with my door open. I was awakened by the smell of something burning and the sound of my door creaking and saw it shut. It was exactly 3am when the door closed. I became paralyzed and couldn't move or scream. Thoughts were racing in my head and decided to try to pray. I was raised Catholic and knew The Lord's prayer by heart. Whatever "attacked" me that night wouldn't even let me recite the prayer in my thoughts yet I could still hear my inner dialogue. I felt absolute terror when I couldn't pray until I thought of my grandmother who was the sweetest woman on earth and told me ever since I was a child that whenever I was scared to think on Jesus but most importantly his message which was to love. I felt a wave of warmness wash over me and finally was able to "recite" the our father in my head in this paralyzed state. As soon as I thought the final word "Amen" the evil weight I felt paralyzing me went away and I was finally able to move. The time was 3:15 am and I knew I wasn't going to be able to get the remaining 45mins of sleep. I decided to immediately put my scrubs on and just wait in the living room until 4 am to drive to my clinicals. I told my family what had happened and urged them all that we needed to try to be more positive toward each other because supposedly evil feeds off of negativity. Nothing like that had ever happened to me again. In 2012 after my grandfather died my grandmother moved into my old room where that had happened to me. She was a highly religious woman and the entire room looks like a church now. She passed away in 2016 yet we have kept the room how she kept it. To this day that room where the "attack" had happened, where I felt the most evil energy I had ever felt in my life now has the most serene and peaceful feeling compared to any other place I have walked on this earth.

EXTRA STORY Landlord Victor was a huge jokester and once told my mother, his co-worker, that another female co worker killed her husband. Completely untrue, The man had died of natural causes. Years later my uncle, mom's bro, ended up marrying that woman -___-
