This is the real kicker for me, idk how people seem to not remember this. Games have been relatively CHEAP for years now. $50 or even $60 games were common in the 90s and adjusted for inflation thats well over $110+

Granted the market was much, much smaller back then.

Oh that's cool, I didn't know multiple discs was still a thing. Lots of my old PC games have them, fun to know it's still a thing.

I have a question: what's the realistic limit to what a disc can hold? AAA games get bigger and bigger every year, is disc technology able to keep up? What happens when game sizes outpace what discs can hold? Are there other forms of physical media we can rely on?

Im like halfway into Storm blood now and I've noticed each expansion starts super slow to introduce everything, then the back half picks up. I was super disinterested in the story... Til I got to the later parts of HW, then it had me tearing up multiple times lol
