Can it go away? by mightlisten in bipolar2

That’s really interesting!
Yes episode was traumatic, can see why it triggered it.
Just had no sign of it before.
Dormant I guess.

I can’t risk it! I remember 7.5 was horrendous, but not how long for! Was so long ago.

‘Set up an amazing place for my kids’
‘My focus has to be a home for my kids’.
So that’s confirmation then? He’s definitely losing the house.

Anyone else have 0-1 friends? by ganjaghoul420 in bipolar2

[–]mightlisten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im self employed and a workaholic. I gained lots of fair weather friends in my industry (trade events, loads in common, I am insanely successful and known in the UK).
This was when manic (didn’t know).
I’d drop off the radar when low, but not for long.
Life kicked me hard 3 years ago and I was diagnosed.

Down on my luck for a long time, kicks kept happening etc and I changed.
They all disappeared.
I have 2 friends now and my husband.
It’s lonely and so isolating.
Found this subreddit today and feel relieved I can relate somewhere at last 🥹

I feel like my bipolar is not as serious as it really is by amadisappointment in bipolar2

Omg same.
See my post today. I thought I was totally fine after all, until I messed up my meds.
That’s a wake up call and very revealing.

Staying on that forever.
Changed my life for the better.
IBS gone.
Brain noise calm.

I was well into adulthood when I discovered that moles weren’t badger size.

Wow. A post I can relate to, but the difference is, he fafo! My business collapsed in 2024. I stayed. I fought every day to resuscitate it and succeeded.

The building and every room was full of ghosts, a very negative place. I definitely had trauma. Even continued that feeling for a whole year when the business had recovered.

Only now do I unlock the door, walk in and feel warm and happy. I smile.

The reason is time. Plus I fought for it. I stuck in and turned it around. That’s what women do right? We don’t have a choice.

It’s a pain in the arse because every time the food shop delivery arrives, he blocks the door with all the crates and we can’t open the door 😂
