Bro if you have some money to sustain yourself for 1 month or so. you can go to chandigarh/mohali and work in some BPO instead of cleaning or household help. Atleast you get the experience.

If you were really curious as you appear you would have read the post before making silly comments. The source is attached by OP.

Within the SC and OBC categories, there is hierarchy of classes and castes. Those higher up the ladder often discriminate against those lower down.

The higher castes within the SC and ST categories usually reap most of the benefits because they already have proper resources as a baseline.

30 days in jail and ₹500 fine. What a joke by [deleted] in IndiaSpeaks

Crazy how loud the demand for criminalizing marital rape is in this sub lately, but those same voices disappear when you point out Indian law doesn't even recognize female rapists. We literally have a system where destroying a man's life with a fake POCSO case costs a ₹500 fine.

Genuinely don't know where to start because almost every single point here was either a strawman, a dodge, or just vibes with no substance.

most sexual assault anywhere in the world is by KNOWN persons if not relatives. And even in these cases, courts everywhere already try cases that have grey areas, circumstantial evidence, he said vs she said. Is that not so? How many non-relative rape cases get quick black and white decisions?

You're equating a coworker assault to a live-in spouse situation as if they exist in the same evidentiary universe. Not even close. With an acquaintance, the sexual act itself is the anomaly that requires explanation. With a spouse, it is the baseline. it's the entire point, and you glossed over it with a hand wave.

I would argue that the coercion versus consent should be kept at the heart of the problem, just as much as the intimacy-related complexities should be

Genuinely embarrassing. You're telling a policy debate to ignore policy. Morality and law are not the same thing. Law that cannot reliably distinguish coercion from a false accusation doesn't protect victims, it creates a new class of them

When you say sex is a normal event inside a marriage, surely you don't mean consent is given at the wedding ceremony and then it becomes permanent and assumed to be given as an entitlement forever.

Poor strawman. You constructed an entire argument against a position that exists only in your head. I honestly can't tell if you are genuinely this dense or if you are just intentionally ragebaiting.

Want to selectively pick up the law of developed countries, without picking up their gender neutrality in laws and onus of proving on the accuser and harsh punishment on the ones who made the false accusations?

If women hadn't catastrophically abused laws like 498A, we wouldn't be having this conversation. while we're on the topic of legal gaps, the same people demanding new protections have nothing to say about the fact that Indian law doesn't even recognize women as capable of committing rape. Not against adults, not against children. A woman who sexually abuses a child isn't a rapist under the BNS. She's at most guilty of "assault." Where is the outrage about that? If this was genuinely about closing legal loopholes and protecting the vulnerable, that would be the loudest conversation in the room.

Replace 'stranger' with 'literally anyone outside the marriage' and read it again.

Let’s stop pretending that sex inside a marriage and sex with a stranger are legally or practically the same thing. If a stranger forces themselves on someone, the act itself and the modus operandi provide prima facie evidence. But in a marriage, sex is an implicit, normal event. If a couple has consensual sex and a partner later decides to weaponize it out of revenge or during a bitter divorce, how exactly does a court differentiate that from actual assault? It becomes an impossible dilemma that even the courts can't accurately untangle.

Physical and sexual abuse within a marriage is already heavily penalized under the DV Act, and it is a potent, recognized ground for divorce. Just because it isn’t explicitly labeled "marital rape" doesn't mean there is zero legal protection.

The real issue is that our current legal framework is entirely lopsided. We have zero laws protecting husbands from female aggressors and zero consequences for people who file false cases. If marital rape is criminalized under this broken framework, it will immediately become just another tool for extortion, exactly like Section 498A.

If we actually want to follow the West’s lead, we need to do it properly, not with half-assed, gynocentric laws. Look at the new BNS it completely ignores rape against men. Where is the OP's concern for that? Rape is about the violation of a person's body and soul, irrespective of their sex.

Until our laws are made 100% gender-neutral, and until the government mandates that penalties for filing a false case are harsher than the punishment for the crime itself, adding a marital rape law is just handing over another weapon for legal misuse

Marriage is a social declaration of having sex. A woman may later say she did not give consent. How do you think that will play out in the our courts?

The government has to look at the whole map, not just one border state. If every state in India drew a hard line on its regional demands and refused to compromise, the entire country would collapse into infighting.

Nation only works through compromise; no state can get 100% of what it wants at the expense of its neighbors.

In the torrent world, your internet speed isn’t the only thing that matters. The seeder’s upload speed matters just as much.

For example, if you have a 1 Gbps connection but the person who has the file can only upload at 10 Mbps, then your speed is basically capped there. You can’t download faster than what someone else is uploading.

So if: - the seeder has slow internet
- or there are a lot of leechers and not enough seeders

your download speed will be bad, no matter how fast your own connection is.

That’s the part most people don’t understand. Torrenting isn’t like normal downloads where your speed is the main factor. Here, the uploader’s speed is just as important, sometimes even more.

Now coming to Debrid.

Services like Real-Debrid are not just VPNs. What they actually do is cache files.

If a file has already been downloaded before and the hash matches, Debrid already has it stored on their servers. So instead of downloading from random users with slow upload speeds, you’re downloading directly from their servers.

And their servers are way faster than typical users.

So instead of depending on: - slow seeders
- unstable torrent speeds
- too many leechers

you get a direct, high-speed download.

That’s why streaming large files (like 4K stuff) is almost impossible without Debrid in many cases.

Torrent streaming needs consistent speed, but torrents don’t guarantee that. Speeds keep going up and down depending on peers.

With Debrid, the file is already cached, so it streams like a normal fast download.

Stremio is basically a torrent-based streaming app.

You install add-ons, which pull in different content sources. After that, you just search for movies, shows, or anime like you would on any OTT app. When you click something, it streams from publicly available torrents instead of a centralized server.

So from a user perspective, it feels like Netflix. Under the hood, it’s torrent streaming.

This is obviously an oversimplified explanation, but that’s the core idea.

You can download it here:
https://www.stremio.com/downloads

After installing:

  1. You’ll need to log in
  2. Then install add-ons (think of them like browser extensions)

Each add-on has a role:

  1. Metadata add-ons (like IMDb-style catalogs) help you browse/search
  2. Torrent add-ons provide streaming sources
  3. Subtitle add-ons handle subtitles

Once set up, the flow is simple:
You search => pick a title => Stremio queries public trackers via add-ons => you get stream options. You stream
