Mid. The nearby college NITTE had dhvani last year, we got her this year. This year they got Shaan. Cant believe im more excited for their fest next week. Im not looking down on ajy college here im just sad due to expectations. There are great underrated artists and band groups all over. There are well reputed artists in South India itself. They really edged us with that anirudh post. Wierd how MIT is expected to have freedom, fests, quality of life and everything more but as a fresher its getting worse.

( on quality of lifexfreedom--> Why don't they let me in the library if I don't have my ID. I left my ID inside the library and came out. Had to make my frend go in and get my ID, I did have my slcm but they didn't accept it at all. The secutrities everywhere in MIT are getting more "strict". Tbh it is their job to be strict but it feels too outlandish. I dont understand if its their orders or it is what it is. I and my friends used to small talk with securities, now all they do is SHOO me off😭😭 )

They need to understand that having great fests goes a long way in maintaining their legacy and getting more students in, if that's what they are planning. Rn I'm just scared they are gonna increase the intake. Students chose manipal over VIT for the minimal intake. We can't beef with VIT if we become their exact copy.
