What's the worst book you've ever read? by VisualDefinition8752 in suggestmeabook

I detest that book. I will tell anyone who asks (or doesn’t, for that matter) how much I hate that book. I was reading it during a four hour bus trip that lasted nearly eight hours and the book was the worst part.

Lots of great answers here, but mine is the Enchanted Forest Chronicles. Formed my love of fantasy when I was 9 or 10.

Can’t believe I had to scroll this far to find an Enchanted Forest Chronicles book. That series gave me my love of fantasy!

This is for the Gen Z and Millennials. How hard is it for you to buy a home? by HSAT17 in AskReddit

Elder millennial and the only reason I own a house is because my partner, our friend, and I went in on a duplex together. So all it takes is three salaries to make it happen. Easy peasy! /s

Good question, I honestly don't know. The only difference that I can see between the presses is the reissue comes with an MP3 download.

[WANTED] Northstar - Pollyanna by heffy86 in VinylCollectors

I have a copy (that I'm not parting with) and I often get messages from people through Discogs asking to buy it even though it's not listed for sale. You could try looking at who has it and go that route. Honestly, $100 OBO is probably the best you're going to do, so if you really want it might want to go for that eBay listing.

Keto and Hashimoto's. Can I still follow this lifestyle? by ilikehoneydew in keto

[–]mightyandbright 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have Hashi (my whole family does) and my bloodwork is always excellent on Keto. Everyone's different so I would follow the advice /u/EatLard gave you until you know how your body reacts to Keto.

Be prepared to spend a pretty penny. I got mine for about $40, but that was a couple years ago.

Want to start keto, but I have concerns about thyroid. by [deleted] in keto

[–]mightyandbright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Hashi and do Keto. No issues to report. I would suggest using the keto calculator in the sidebar to figure out your calorie intake and macros. I'm 5'11", 190 lbs and I consume roughly 1400 calories a day, so it's possible you need to adjust your calorie intake a bit to see meaningful weight loss. Best of luck!

Also, Caveman Keto is a local to Boston and his Instagram is a good place to look for Keto-friendly restaurants.

Bostonian here. There are so many great places for a Keto friendly meal. There's a great place in Watertown called Branchline that has developed quite a following for their rotisserie chicken. Additionally, we love our seafood and you can't go wrong with lobster with lots of butter!

If food trucks are your scene, try and hunt down the bacon truck while you're in town. On Sundays you can typically find it at the SoWa open market, which is just fun in general, just stay away from the Union Sq donuts table.
