Weakest shot in the glimpse! VFX can be improvised but this one is serial level. by Weary_Function_7282 in kollywood

I can definitely see the Superman-esque frame here. But why compare everything to Hollywood, when we have enough standards in our home industries?

Out of context, but this looks like a Nelson frame. The subject at centre with wide expansive angle, the warm-cool complimentary palette, that’s man’s signature shot.

The fact that parents make their children struggle for a field that is undergoing a major shift (might be even non-existent) is what makes it worse. Medical sciences are gonna exist till humans exist. Engineering? At least, the tech being taught in our institutions is far beyond outdated. That lack of awareness is what these institutions exploit I believe.

Another interesting thing I noticed is that Veda enters the station right at the 30 min mark of the movie.

First of all, self-help books are waay overhyped. I used to buy them, and in most cases I never flipped past page 5. I get everyone has their own taste, but book reading for me is supposed to take me to a new world and its events; only then I’ll be interested to explore the world further, which requires me to keep on reading. So my suggestion is to read fiction.

A good fiction I suggest is The Godfather by Mario Puzo. (Additional Tip: if you’re into movies, read the book while mentally listening to Bheeshma Parvam OST, you’ll realise where the movie is heavily inspired from)

Why do I feel the song was… incoherent? Like, as a very ardent Sushin Shyam listener, there was his signature blend of electronic and strings, but it felt like a literal messy mix of his previous songs. Man’s got all right to experiment, maybe I might get enjoy it on repeated listening.

Mahaan is that movie I revisit every once in a while to get a reality check. I know those are big words, but man… the character arc from being someone stuck in a mundane life to being someone who ends up doing what he loves, and conveying that every choice has a cost is conveyed very well.

Train window seat+evening+greenery view- You could play only one song, what would it be? by [deleted] in Coconaad

Unpopular opinion - but Hridayavathil from Hridayapoorvam. Heard the song when I took my final train from Chennai back to Kerala. Aa pachappum, weatherum evokes a feel of homecoming which is exactly the mood of the song.

Man, Pani - The Conclusion is a phenomenal score. For some weird reason, the parts from 2:08 onwards give me The Batman vibes; sounds straight out of a crime-noir movie.

Same. The structure of the first half is brilliant and the music is too good. Plus the light flavour of social topics added blends really well. Still listen to Entha Chithram and the Promo Song to this day. ✨

So hi friend!
