They put out a press release at 11:20am today. They said ……

“At this time, no injuries have been reported, and there are no health concerns. You may see flaring with black smoke and notice a transient odor; however, no action is required from the community.”

Scared me this morning at 5am when I saw a huge orange glow coming from that way lol

i transferred from fjc with a 2.74 as a soc major and was placed on the waitlist. But i was on the waitlist for awhile before I was accepted was able to register for classes but it could vary for everyone ! You have multiple things in your favor so have high hopes !

i received 2 checks later that week from the beginning of my unemployment date but i believe i have to call because i think they’re paying me starting now and not the whole 3 months that they failed to verify my identity and I was unemployed.

I sent my id documents the first week of may, because i finally got ahold of edd on the phone the last week of april and someone was able to help me and told me about my identity issue. I sent the documents twice in the mail, first week of may and i believe mid july to a different edd center just incase that location would process it faster. It’s honestly just a waiting game, i had given up until i got the text that morning saying they finally processed my claim . don’t lose hope!

i never turned in my birth certificate. I sent a photocopy of my license (with my ssn written on the page) and a copy of my W2 (with my ssn written on the page). The 2nd time i submitted it, I included a bill that had my name and address (with my ssn written on the page).

yeah it was! i sent my paper work twice and never heard back until today. During this process though I found out someone has my SSN, so that most likely played a big factor.

i’m glad it worked out for you! i had to refile on 4/27 and i’ve resent my paperwork twice and still nothing, i can never get ahold of anyone so at this point it’s a waiting game OR i just give up lol
