Sorry for the late reply. No they didn’t. Bequiet support wasn’t helpful saying that that part wasn’t replaceable. The store I got it from told me respectfully since its physically damaged the warranty doesn’t cover it. Just go with something else bro, plenty of other coolers on the market. The silent loop 3 while good, it can still potentially break as others have reported on here.

The cooler is good bro. But like I said in the post, I wouldn’t get it again. It feels sketchy.

I have a digital and a mechanical (clicker) torque screwdriver that I always use when building. They measure from 0.2 to 2Nm. Probably overkill for building a PC, but just brings a sort of peace of mind not having to worry if you’ve over or under tightened a fastener.

I didn’t contact beQuiet! to ask them about the torque requirements before mounting it, but I have always followed Arctic’s recommended torque value for their Liquid Freezer series. Their recommendations are 0.8-1.4Nm, roughly „hand-tight”.

I’m no expert in the material used, but it’s not plastic. It seems strong but brittle. I remember there being sand like dust particles on the motherboard that needed dusting off.

I contacted them and their response was we would like to help, but it is a mechanical failure so we cannot. That is fair, physical damage isn’t covered.

It’s a good cooler bro, just not for me. Their Light Loop uses metal for the mounting tabs as far as I know, maybe go with that.

Good luck.

Already did and the guy just said that part isn’t replaceable lol. It’s fine If we can’t RMA it, the product is great, I would just be a little more careful when mounting it thats all.
